It was a sunny spring day, so I rolled out the completed float. Rivet on the walkway last... it is whole lot easier to install the hydraulic lines which run from the main gear to nose gear and return. I left off the nose cap because in its present state its easier to pick up with a person on each end.

Hi Bob,
You've been busy I see ! Good going !
Norm
Looks like a work of art Bob..
looks good
Zenair web site advertises 100 lbs / float. Net gain after removing main gear spring + nose gear & wheel I figure is an increase of 100 lb of your aircraft empty weight. Loaded with beef (Bob & Bob) and full fuel my CH750 climbs out 800 fpm @ 70 mph with the Rotax 912S swinging a 72" dia. prop. I figure on floats solo to climb at the same rate.... simple math and seat of the pants flying experience. I will do a complete W & B and post results when done.
Wow...bigger than I thought....how much does a pair weigh?
