I figured the name was familiar when I saw the friend request then read your comment and than the light went on!
Sure nice to hear from you and tell your friend if he wants I can show him around and possibly arrange a local flight if that interests him.
Sold the Piet a couple of years ago due to declining health but have since undergone major surgery and on the road to recovery so purchased the Ch100 to keep the body and mind busy.
Welcome to the Zenith Builder's site. If you recall, I stopped by your airport a few winters back when I had the day off from performing ice testing on jet engines in Winnipeg. We talked a lot about your Pietenpol since I was also working on one. Well, I am still looking at it every once in a while, but not really working on it these days. Too many other irons in the fire. I have not been back to Winnipeg in about a year and a half since I move on to another project. I do, however, have a pilot friend headed up there this weekend (Aug 15) for a few week stint of engine testing (not icing, of course). I told him to head out to Lyncrest airport and check out the operations. I am sure he will be met with the same great hospitality I found when I was there.
Good luck on the CH100 project. That is a rare piece of Chris Heintz design history.
