- I've been interested in flying for many many years and due to work, family, and funds it has always seemed to sit on the back burner. I've made the decision to get my UL licence in the spring (2019) and start learning and building up some hours and experience. I'm 49 now and four years from retirement, so why not spend the next couple of years learning and building an aircraft. I've researched everything I possibly could and keep coming back to the Zenith CH750 due to the all aluminum construction and it looks fairly straight forward. I'm not a professional builder by any stretch but I think i can make this work. The plan is to build the 750, get a minimum of 100 hrs on her then switch her over to floats to go explore the wilds of BC. Looking forward to learning from the members on here as it looks to be a great resource.
