Hi Brian,
Got your photos. I'm impressed with the way you've customized your 750 ! I'm almost jealous. I haven't had the chance to test the wing fences since they were installed late last year. I did however remark that the tendency of the nose to drop in a turn was somewhat less pronounced (less rudder applied). We'll see how that goes. Good thing you left the slats off BUT I would recommend adding VGs to the main wing. They sell cheap at Aircraft Spruce (aluminum ones) and they replace those slats very well.
By the way, can't wait to see your engine compartment !! Zenith used to have a header tank (CH701) in front between the firewall and the instrument panel, so yours ins't something new and is a proven thing.
Regards,
Norm

Hi Brian,
I don't think it would be very difficult to make this change. The door could easily be opened like a car door. Simple modification. Things to watch for : when the door opens it could rub against the struts or the top could rub against the fuel tank drain. Mine did !
It's just a matter of placing the hinges at the right place.
Easy enough modification for us I guess !
Cheers!
Norm

Hi Brian,
Welcome to the family.
I wish you the all the best with your project.
If you ever get the chance to visit the Zenith factory please take the time to stop by our builder assist facility too. We like to have visitors here and we are right here in Mexico, Mo. just a couple of miles from them.
Take care and good luck,
Bill Carter
