Hi Brian,

I am still completing the rubber puck change over, installing 12 rubber donut (which was Rogers recommendation.....  however I’m really just doing so now because I have easy access with the engine off.  I’m putting it up on amphib floats where I plan to keep it, so I may not know any time soon how well the pucks do for the nose gear.....

Contact Dan Niendorff - he just got done installing it on his 801.

I wlll have to wait until my new hanger is built to do mine. It requires that you remove the engine to install it.

Hi Brian

Flying and my plan to build a CH640 have taken a back seat in the last couple of years.  So I'm sorry to say there is no 640 to view.  I am very keen to hear all about yours though.  What are your plans when you're visiting NZ?

Cheers

Hi Brian- Got your mesage. I'll try to find out what treatment was used on the interior. I can, however, tell you that the latches are from Hendricks Manufacturing.

Cheers. Bob

BTW--The plane will be on Barnstormers (for sale) in the near future.

Keep up the good work. It has taken me 5 years to get to this point. Thanks for the compliment on the paint.

Thats a shame about the web site, it was helpful to look at when I had questions. I have the tail done also and am working on the fuse, Im not sure why I started there before the wings but I did. I'm about 70 or 80% done with the fuse. I am building from scratch so the doors and canopy have kicked my butt. Otherwise it has been pretty smooth. Have you ever flown a ch 640? I was wondering how they fly. Most of my time has been in a cherokee 180. I assume it flies much like that.

also, I use to have Jeff Paden's web site address but I can't find it on this site, do you have it?

200 hp would be good, Im think I am going to be around 175 or 180 ish with the subaru. Thats ok, I have a friend flying one and he was getting around 7 gph in an RV 9. How far are you on your build?

Hi Brian, have you gave any thought to which engine you are planning to use in your 640. I am building a Subaru for mine.
