Hi Chuck, Sorry I did not get back to you sooner, I'm on vacation in Pensacola Fl and have limeted access to the internet. I'm also trying to figure out how to work this message board. From the photos you posted it appears that you are doing an excellent job and will soon have a flying 650. Zenith does not have an assembly guide for the canopy? My friend has a Jab in his Titan and loves it, what a great flying plane. I would like to see your plane, are weekends good for you. are you near the Erie airport? Alan

Hi Alan, I'm 14 months into it and have made good progress at times and had some setbacks. Like having to rework the center spar and wings. I bought one of the first full kits and there were some issues to sort out.
I expect to do the final riveting of the forward fuseloge side skins, center spar, and firewall and then get it on its feet within the next week or so. The wings are together but still lots of work there. Then its the canopy and to date there isn't a plan from Zenith for doing this. I have a new jab 3300 waiting in the corner.
I still need all the instruments and firewall forward stuff. Since your already a pilot and I am not I may try to pick your brain from time to time. I have several pilot friends that have given me a good bit of help.
There are two other gentlemen in the area with 601's.
Please feel welcome to visit me so I can show off and I'm sure I can offer some building advice.
Chuck
