Hi Dan,
To answer your question regarding the seats...Yes they are the Noral type A High backrest and I used the ones for C-172. They fill the seat better for my taste.

Sorry Dan, I don't know of a CFI with 701 time. The guy I know has about 45min. in my 801 and 701 combined.
The idea is to have a slow plane that is cheap to fly.
The IO360 in the 801 gets a littel pricy too just go play around with.
