Hi Don, How did you make out with the Ring Mount for your project ?  Tom was here last week to pick up some aluminum and some gauges. I had my pre-cover on the CH701 a few weeks ago. Just working on the wiring now that the temps aren't sub-zero. Here's a link for some pics of the plane and some pics of the vettes.

Yes much better than the original 1500 Floats they made. I know a few guys built the Rebel 1850 and opted for the Montana Retractable Landing Gear though? Instead of the Murphy?
I envy you guys that can build, I am not a builder, I get distracted to easy and would take me for ever to build. I can spend many hows on something but have to finish quickly.

I am thinking I would like a Murphy Rebel on Amphibious Floats? I like the Zenith Cruzer but there is a weight problem when on Floats? Tks Wayne

I talked to him awhile back, he was selling a Amphibious CH701 based on Simcoe. Did he sell it yet?

Hi Don, You have been a busy guy,not sure if I know Ted? Did he have a CH701 on Amphibious Floats and is from Barrie? I too will be looking to get something else in the spring when I get back, not sure what I want? Or should I say Need? I am not a builder but can do maintenance and mods and repairs. So will have to buy a flying Plane and go from there. Anyway hope we can get together in the spring time . Tks Wayne

Yes I know where your Hangar is , I was at it back in the spring for the FlyIn on the Sunday but it was cancelled. Windy Day!! I had a walk around and talked to a few of your neighbors but you were not there. I was looking for Ron to see his CH701 that you did but he was not there either. So I flew back to CNY3 then back to CNV8 as I was renting there in the spring until I built my new Hangar in CYEE. Now I am getting settled in Midland at CYEE. I will try and meet up in the spring as I am now in Florida for the Winter. Will be at SUN N FUN in April and hope to see a few fellow Canadians. TTUL Tks Wayne

Welcome to the Forum Don, I am not sure if we have met before but I know we have several acquaintances in common that we each know. I have been to CYOS many times and other area airports. Hope we can meet up sometime in the future as I have recently relocated to CYEE. Tks Wayne
