Don,

I'm building from the kit (not scratch) and the V was already CNC cut out of the skin.  The interesting thing about it is that when I look at the plans, unless I'm missing something, it specs the V as the same width on the top and bottom, but on my CNC cut skin, the top and bottom have a different width - which gives the V an "angle."  I'm not sure why that is. I'll post some pics of it after I get it closed up - I just have one more operation to do on the extrusion that connects the top & bottom horns together and then I'll be riveting.

Don, it's all new under the cowl. I'm going to wait until after I do some flight testing to reveal the internal components. All that's left of the stock Jabiru FWF is the Spinner, engine mount, battery mount and oil recovery bottle. The muffler has been replaced by dual exhaust.

I'm thinking mid-May to start flight testing.
