Hi Douglas, very nice! How long has it been on floats? What was the transition to flying with floats like? I want to get my CH750 on floats next year. My engine is a 130hp UL Power 350is.

Cheers,

Dave

Zenith was of little help with the melted front nose gear swivel issue. They did redesign the front bearing. I installed it and sold the floats & CH750. Zenith does its R&D on the builders wallet. I was the 1st to install & fly floats on a CH750 in North America... 2nd in the world. Zenith had never done it.

He bought my floats and has been flying them successfully. He also built gear position indicator light system.

I'd like to meet you as well. I have to warn you however that you would likely be disappointed in my "kitchen piping" as I have not played with a band for many years now. If you can accept a limited repertoire and less than practice book decorations, then we'd get on just fine.

I have heard glowing reviews about Mackinac Island and the U.P. but have not yet visited in person. I hope to remedy that in the future, perhaps in conjunction with Airventure.

Greetings from the Ottawa area. I have just started the power build with Mark in Kitchener. There are many little tricks that I am sure you will be picking up from the builders group. Good luck. Conrad

Hi Douglas,

Is that you playing the pipes in the photo? I play as well; mostly solo for the last several years. It's hard to make it to band practice when you are building.
