I was just browsing and noticed your comment of a few months back on how to get the plasitc off the aluminum sheet.

Not a problem for small pieces but the large pieces like the sides and wing skins can be a pain. The solution I found was to start wraping the plastic around a broom handle and then roll the plastic onto the handle. I clamped a pair of vicegrip pliers to the end of the broom handle to use as a crank and the plastic just rolls off. It turned hours of frustration into a 2 minute job.

I'm really glad I came across your comments Jack so I could add the diagonals during the build. I always wondered why they were added to the 750, and now I know.

Thanks for the compliments.  I leave my door open from the garage to the house so I don't cut myself off from the family.  Therefore I wanted it to look decent.  But mostly I wanted it well lit, though my daughter says its too bright.  Wait till she gets older and learns to appreciate light. Helps with the photography too.

Clecos...it is amazing how many you really need versus how many come with the tool kit!

I am going with the diagonals too - ordered the L's last nite. I'm guessing they also tie into the perpendicular L's? Also, is there any benefit to adding them after the fuselage sides are together (to accommodate the slight curvature of the fuselage)?

Where'd you get the idea for adding the diagonals? I know the 750 has them, but what happens to weight and/or balance?  Did you run this by Zenith?

I'm at the same point so I'd like to know if you got an okay from them.
