A header tank is the way to go, but there are many things that have to be considered
I have actually built a mock up tank and wing section and have carried out many trials, 8 in total and all have had an issue
I am currently working on trial 9 and hopefully after working on it this weekend, it will be the one, fingers crossed
Regarding the LAA, I did raise a few issues with them and explained that some of the dimensions on the drawings are not possible to work to, physically impossible to have one dimension on a part that contradicts another dimension on the drawing
They told me to just record all the errors on my drawings and my inspector would sign off the stages based on the amendments I have made
The biggest worry is that I found that the rear wing channel will not bolt to the back of the attach plate, it will have to bolt to the front, the LAA hade to look at this to ensure that there was no impact on the structural strength
Hi James, I am pretty far into the build, regarding construction I only have the left wing to build now
I have found it challenging at times and I have found many errors in the drawings and have had to over come them
I am currently focussing on the fuel system, as I am installing a UL Power 350is and have concerns over unporting the fuel from the wing tank
