fuel tanks for sale

I have two Z601XLB fuel tanks for sale. These ae 12 gallon tanks, which in my case, was about a bladder's worth of flight time. The fuel senders are installed in the end of the tanks. and were checked out with fuel quantity displays. I'll include the displays, if you pick up the tanks here. The tanks are at E38, in Alpine, Texas. My asking price is $400 for the pair, plus crating and shipping, if required.See More

Grandson help

I moved my 601XLB to the airport a couple of months ago for final assembly. A week or so ago, I took my grandson along while I did some measurements for the seat cushions. He wanted to sit in the cockpit, which was fine by me. When I turned around, I found him making very careful, but of course meaningless measurements, along the top of the pilot side.

I don't think he really understands what we're doing, but I figure the early exposure to airplanes can't hurt anything.…

Continental O200 baffles

I may be repeating what everyone else already knows, but just in case....

I've priced O200 baffles, and even the units built by other than Cessna were pricey, probably due to the FAA paperwork. The cheapest I found were around $800. That's a lot of money for a little aluminum, and a bit of seal.

Whilst browsing through my library, I happened to scan my copy of the late Tony Bingelis' "Firewall Forward." Inside, I found a scalable pattern for O-200…
