Scale drawings for designing paint scheme?

Hello, I see folks with these beautiful renderings of paint schemes, and I would like to do that.  But I am totally at a loss of even where to begin.First, where do you get a scale drawing of the plane ( I need the Cruzer)?.  Second, Is there an easy program that you used to lay our the colors?  I don't have any experience with paint programs.  So, for example, if I want to put a checkerboard pattern on the tail, can I pull up a checkerboard template and just paste in on there.  Is it smart…See More

Dual Throttle Control

Does anyone have dual throttle controls with their Corvair.  I am using a MA-3 carb, and a center stick.  I plan to have a throttle control for both the pilot and passenger side.  I am thinking that I can just hook two cables to the throttle control arm on the carb and they will simply work in tandem?  Am I missing anything here?  What have others done so the the passenger can act as co-pilot?JoeSee More

My fuselage finally came, so I could get back to work.

This is also my first post here.  I have finished my empennage and started on the fuselage today. I drilled all the stiffeners and longerons on the bottom skin.

PDK is close.  Was also thinking tail kit building in my Hapeville apartment.  But the factory event taking my wife fits better.  Our St Louis home is close to Mexico and want her to see what's involved.  My RV12 bulder frind and I visited Zenith and want to return this summer.  Are you going to Sun n Fun?
