If you don't mind I would like your email address to add to the groups email list. My email is burbby@yahoo.com.. I know it is strange but burbby is what the grandkids call me so the name stuck..
If nothing else I hope you can make it to the meeting. We need you in the group.
Thanks
Gary Bassham
Great to see you on the blog. I too am a 750 builder. Since you talked about building a 701 in the past, I was going to email you at Lockheed Martin to tell you about my 750. But It looks like you are already on your way to building one too.
I saw the prototype at Oshkosh, went to Mexico for the rudder workshop in September, and after a demo ride ordered a kit. I picked up my kit in January but before I could get my workshop set up, slipped on some ice and broke my wrist. After the cast comes off I will be riveting tail parts.
I am enjoying retirement in a town of 5000 near my birthplace in NW Iowa and am the secretary of a good little EAA chapter here. I sold the place down by Austin so most of my ties to Texas have been severed. My wife and I do a lot of traveling and were in Grand Prairie a couple months ago to drive by the plant (not much change there) and dropped by the airport to say hello to Glenn Swain and check out his "soon-to-be-flying" Spacewalker. Wish I'd had a chance to stop by your office on my way to retirement , but you know how that went down.
Say hi to Penny, Larry, Nicewander, etc. for me.
And maybe we'll get together sometime soon to compare airplanes.
