Getting close to completing the panel wiring / mounted the ELT in the tail last week / pretty well worked out the details on the heater-defroster and air ventilation integration / finally completed the throttle (reverse) for the Aeroinjector. (it would have been so much easier to use their throttle assy but I wanted a vernier unit on the throttle and mixture / I will try not to be such an idiot in the future) Also a side note / I started transition training with Earl Downes in Cushing OK a few weeks ago. My plan was to fly every so often and increase the schedule when I get closer to ready to fly mine. Since we sold the 172 last year it has made the air time much more necessary (for my sanity if nothing else). Earl is a super nice guy and his experience and training skills will go a long way in keeping my insurance rates down and my new project from getting torn up.
11/30/13 Update
Wiring and other details pretty much completed / I am going to wait till the flight testing is finished to add a Mode S transponder and since the ADS_B is drop in / it will wait as well. All the sound proofing is in under the front and the heater-cabin air-defroster finished too. All done on the firewall forward except the baffling and cowl fitting. The right magneto is off for internal timing check and service but the P-Mag is installed and timed (so much easier than a standard slick magneto) I installed an MGL Extreme Mini Efis with the RDAC so I have 4 CHT and EGT (to add) in a stainless crossover exhaust. This will allow leaning that I have never had much success with in my base model Cessna's and Piper planes I used to own. I installed 2 O2 sensors and a Dual monitor as well (the little round gauge by the fuel selector). I read a couple of articles about this setup- It allows immediate notification of an overly lean condition (detonation) and the sensors will go a couple hundred hours on 100LL / almost indefinite on auto gas. Advice is cheap but experience will cost you money.

Mike,
I'm very near the process of purchasing an Ed Sterba prop for my 0235 powered 601XL.
What Diameter and pitch are you using?
Thank you,
