Hey Randy I do have an A65 I am going to turn into an A80. I wont have electric but I wont need it for day vfr.
Randy,
You can look at the blogs I did about the project I started for a lightweight interior. One of the products was TecFoil (I believe that's the name) used in HVAC projects and found at your favorite Lowes Aircraft Supply. I found a couple of things: one, it's light and two, it dampens sound and vibration very well. I've put it all through the cabin including the firewall and even on the underside and other side of the rear of the baggage compartment. Only trouble I had was to figure out the process to stick it to the AL. ended up using 3M spray glue. Don't wait for full tack so you can move it around a little as you get it in place.
Thankyou Randy /Herry
Rusty
