Hi Robert, i talked with you on the phone one day a few months ago, and should have just called you again for info. I plan on using the UL350iS engine in my Zodiac, and am wondering a few things. First one is, where does the fuel pump return to? I do not have any returns on my tanks. Second, is the cowl available yet? Last i heard, Zenith was still waiting on that and some other items for the FWF kit for the Zodiac. Third, does the little electric fuel pump that they send with the kit work with the UL engine. It does not look like the ones i have seen in the photo's of the install. Should a person buy this engine through Zenith or buy it from you directly? Zenith must mark the engine up a percentage right. I am about 200 hrs into the build, and plan on having the plane ready for paint by spring time. I have all the avionics on order, and am wondering how much lead time i need to give the motor. Can i expect one say a month after i place the order, or does it take longer? Lots of questions i know, but your help is appretiated.
Les
Hello Robert,
I remember you from our meeting a few months back and dinner at the country club here in Mexico.
If you don't mind let me know when you are ready to do that engine install. I would love to come and watch.
Welcome to the family.
I wish you the all the best with your project. If you ever get the chance to visit the Zenith factory please take the time to stop by our builder assist facility too. We are their newest and nearest builder assist facility and like to have visitors. We are right here in Mexico, Mo., not far from them as well.
Take care and good luck,
Bill Carter
