Received the CH-701 Kit at the end of May, just in time for Summer Camp to start at the Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum in Gulfport MS. Prior to the camp I inventoried the shipment. The camps built 2 rudders (I attended a rudder workshop but brought the pieces home rather than assembling at the factory) so I had 2 for the camp. This along with a Wing Slice was packaged near the top of the crate.
The crate is delivered at the loading dock.
The museum provided storage space for the crate
Lots of Paper. I saved and am reusing to cover the workbench.
The museum provided space for the hands on summer camp plus the STEM hands on exhibit until completion of the plane.
Started with an 8 foot workbench
Then needed to expand it to 12 feet for the fuselage
Each of the three session of the summer camp started with the wing slice. It was assembled and disassembled 12 times. (3 sessions and 4 groups in each session)
