Michael Mccarthy.
Hi Roger and Bill. I'm still here and been flying. Engine is running better than ever with the 45 amp Alternator and E-Mag. 273 hours logged. Come see me. Lunch is on me. The field is in great shape. Been meaning to get down you way or over to Keystone.

On my new (to me) factory built AMD CH-650, I plan to strip off the graphics, buff out the white paint, and do a NAVY trainer paint scheme like yours like yours. Paint cowl, wing tips and rudder. Graphics for the rest. Any advice? Do you have more photos? rbj@yanceyandjamieson.com
I "almost" flew a NAVY T-34 B when I tried to join up to fly in Vietnam. Stooped no? Well, that's what fresh college graduates males are! LOL. Hell, I didn't know they were shooting SAM's at US. I didn't even have a TV! SO... I flat failed my physical. I was a bad motorcycle racer prior to wanting to fly off an aircraft carrier! So, it turns out, previously being stoopid probably saved my life!
I'd like to see LSU and Florida meet for the championship.
Thanks Roger,
We need to meet for lunch one day soon.
Tigers are still playing football. We already had one running back kicked off the team for some sort of criminal or at least questionable behavior. Just another normal summer on the bayou.
Where to start? Just got back from a week of hiking in Rocky Mountain Park. Made a bit over 31 miles in four days; the park and the critters are spectacular. Marita and I were surprised that we could still make 10 - 12 miles on a dawn to early afternoon hike without dying.
Next up is Oshkosh with my dad. We'll leave home in the wee hours of next Thursday and should have dad's 5th wheel camper set up there by midday Friday. I finally decided that I wasn't going to get younger or wealthier and the cost wasn't likely to go down in the future, so I reserved a ride in a P-51 out of the Appleton Airport while we're there.
The Goose is still flying well and the Jabiru engine is running so well at 160 hours or so that I'm wondering where the hidden flaw will turn up. With 2 souls on board and full fuel tanks, we cruise at 105 - 110 IAS and burn about 5gph of car gas. Life is good.
I got the ultralight fuel system and main landing gear redone (had a bent internal tube due to a hard landing) and it is my hot weather ride. The open cockpit and high wing make for a cooler ride.
You going to Oshkosh?
