About your bungee question. My bungees looked OK but were way to stiff. I install new ones that were softer; not HD. So I do get more travel out of the mains and it is softer on a bumpy grass strip. When I changed out the old ones I found that they had gotten stiff over the years as well as the outer case starting to split in areas that you can't see w/o taking the gear out. FYI.
