- Bought a RANS s-6s and have modified it extensively. Huge gear mods, homebuilt fork (22" mains, 21" nose). Installed 114hp zipper kit on 912. Built headers, muffler and ram-air setup. VGs, all new instruments in panel (many additional instruments). Lots of other little stuff. Awesome performing airplane. I flew a ch750 before buying this for 15-20 hours and enjoyed it a lot, looked at them when shopping for my own bird, found a good deal on the RANS first, but definitely like the zenith planes!
