Thanks Tom for the update.... I am ordering the radiators and will be installing a fuel bladder (header tank) in the 801. It will be a 4 gal+ tank under the co-pilot seat. It is crash resistance, semi ridged, and made from 3 layers of approved material that goes on military equipment. I emailed Jan and he said OK. The tank will have drain at the bottom, inlet from the wing tanks thru an adair fuel valve, and a return line from the engine on the upper opposite corner.
For the engine compartment, I had to remove a bolt from the rear of the lower engine bolt (the one that ties the lower engine to the engine firewall mount and install a helicoil so you can turn the bolt around and safety wire it.It gives abot a 1/4 seperation between the mount and the nose wheel up down movement. I believe that you added large spacers to the mount to give yourself more room there?

I will be ordering the larger radiators from Jan. What is your fuel burn rate for cruise at 2100 and max rpm? Do you have the new Generation trans yet, mine is ordered form the batch coming out in Jan.

Just building merrily along.
