Today I was out doing my 40hr phase flying and decided to do some idle power glide tests. Zenith recommends 60kts best glide speed. I tried 50kts, 55kts, 60kts and 65kts. The best ratio was at 60kts…Continue

An update on the list. Search for the national kit evaluation team nket an go down to zenith an you'll find the form completed by the FAA team showing the kit meets the 51% rule and the letter documenting the approval
Saw our comment on the 51% docs. Check the FAA approved aircraft list and you'll find the 750 crusher has been approved. That means if you build it as documented it meets the 51 % rule so you don't need the form
William,
I have the answer to the question of the day. I have stuffed my plane into a uhaul and it is now at Buzzair Flight Academy in TN. They are all great folks, and have helped me enormously. My 750 is undergoing flight testing now, but I had to return home. They are flying off as many hours as possible between training sessions. I had to travel further than you will, and I towed a car. I'll see if I can send you a picture of the truck.

I believe you can. I think I have seen a video with Roger Dubbert showing this feature. Check the Zenith site.

Here is the checklist for the STOL. There was nothing else on the FAA site.
