Norm, No date on your "just started 701" post. I picked up my complete 701 kit on 19 Jan. and after 3 days of unpacking & doing the inventory, I started on the H. Stab ... I'm just in from the workshop after finishing the stab and collecting the parts to start the elevator.
I ordered a Viking for my project ... best delivery date is lat Aug.
I just thought I'd check-in with another builder at about the same point as me ... Good luck.
