October 28, 2016.

Now it can be told. On August 4, 2016, the $23,000 plywood crate containing my CH-750 kit arrived looking like this:

Crate on arrival.JPG Mis-weighed .jpg

FedEx had “reweighed” the 877 pound crate as 415 pounds, and then loaded 450 pounds of freight on top of a box clearly marked FRAGILE in letters six inches high.  I didn’t take the end off this crate; this is exactly how FedEx presented it to me.

I took this picture, emailed it to the factory, and asked, “What do you want me to do?” And after a gasp and a pause (we all knew there would be damaged pieces inside) they asked me to accept the shipment, detail the damage; and said that they’d make me whole.

And so began my relationship with the good folks in Mexico, Missouri. Today, I received another crate. It looks like this:

I won’t get to open the box until tomorrow, but I have every reason to believe that not only have they replaced the damaged parts, they've even replaced my FedEx-damaged factory workshop rudder -- not with a new rudder kit, but with a new factory-built rudder.

And that, dear friends, is service. Honest, friendly, trustworthy. If the plane is like the service, and my ride with Roger leads me to believe that it is, I’m in good hands. Thanks, folks.

We had a similar experience and Zenith replaced all the damaged parts no questions asked. They supported our project from start to finish.

You are in good hands with Zenith, Rich. I've been there too with a damaged shi[pment by Fedup, some parts that didn't fit right and it was all made good by Zenith.  Tom Sullivan

My experience over the years of my build of my 650 was exactly the same.

Pick up the phone, calmly explain your problem and receive great personal help.
