Does anyone have a source for an aluminum airfoil shaped fairing that one could placed around front gear tube?
Preferably open at back so could be slipped around gear tube and then riveted shut and riveted to gear tube for stability.

Ian, Nice looking fabrication. I will be trying to form something based on your ideas. thanks, Jerry
Dave, Thanks for the site to review. some food for thought. Jerry
Hi Jerold,
I did a little searching and found this site that I've seen before:

Dave
Ian, If not to difficult, some pics or a drawing would be nice. Thanks, Jerry
Hi Jerod
I made on up with 0.016" 6161-T6. Made a top and bottom rib around formers, the same method used to make all the other ribs on the A/C. The skin is then riveted to the ribs. Finally 4 rivets secure the fairing to the nose leg tube. I don't have a drawing but could make up a sketch if you need one.
