Alright who is the dynon wizard? Helping finish a 801 with vertical power electrical system and dynon skyview. Surely not the first to have this set up
Comment
Not a Dynon, but I put a GMU-11 magnetometer in the rear fuselage section of my 801. No interference. Works great. Let me know if you want location pics.
I can't speak specifically for the 801, but they usually go behind a rear seat or bulkhead because there's far less chance of magnetic or electronic/RF interference back there, and it's usually far easier to get them perfectly level there.
I'm fairly familiar with Dynon installations, but if you have a detailed question, it might be better to post it on the Dynon forum where more homebuilders can contribute, and where other builders are more likely to benefit from the information.
