Back side of the wing, the rear spar is a two peice affair with a doubler channel, this makes assembly quite simple and fast. Best part is the trailing edge being a bent unit which makes the trailing edge very attractive.

Front skin cleco's right on.

Look close at this picture, the amount of time that will be saved in slat alignment from the predrilled holes is great.

It is now just after Lunch on Sunday, this is going well but Tuesday morning is getting close and I have a RAA Chapter meeting Monday evening that is two hours away from the hanger, since I am the Guest speaker I can't miss it.

Directions say to have the trailing edge riveted on, but in having to use straps to do the nose skin I would rather have left them off. I am fortunate to have a 14 ft steel bar in the shop for such times, as it is needed when having to remove nose skins sometimes on planes in for repairs or skin replacements.

This is how I build wings, I use two 12ft 2 X 2 tubes and several 4 footers, the one on the trailing edge is there to prevent any damage to the alum. Also note that it is clamped so that it cannot rotate when adjusting the straps.

Tanks are installed.
