I am replacing my first generation bubble doors with tube supports on my 701 with second generation bubble doors with fiberglass support for the acrylic . Does anyone out there have any experience with this? Will I have to alter the sill height? Will the hardware transfer to the new door?
Thanks, Vann

Thanks for the comment. How did you cut the fiberglass. Dremel tool? Was hoping the door would be rigid enough that a second handle or attachment point wouldn't be necessary. No?
I did replace pass side with new style door ,
yes, hardware will transfer and no need to change sill just a lot of measuring and joyful fiberglass cutting (get a good face mask) Have not replaced pilot side yet ( because it is not cracked-Yet) not a big deal just very messy work. Since Z send me the complete door kit I had extra handles and decided to install 2 handles in one door, works great to keep door closed, have not lost an iPad through the crack ( yet)
