Luckily I wasn't hurt at all. the hit the wing first then cartwheeled onto the prop and front landing gear and then swung around and smacked the passenger side gear and bent it all up and it broke off and went forward, then it continued around to the tail where the tail skid caught and bent up the tail. with the gear bent forward the door wouldn't open and there was gas pouring out of the pilot side tank, so I opened the door about a foot and skinnied out and ran away. Since it hit so many ways over a long period of time there was no giant impact and it was about the same as spinning around in your office chair, thank God, and I walked away, well maybe ran.
One of my all time favorite YouTube video's is your Bush Flying California Desert. I just love that video. must have watched it 10 times or more. I had no idea that you were involved in a crash. I am so glad you were not hurt badly. thanks for sharing your experience with us and thanks for rebuilding such a great airplane. keep the video's coming.
