Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Hi group. Has anyone successfully fixed a heavy left wing problem?
After my first test flight I needed almost full right aileron trim to get back to wings level.
I have tried adjusting the LH flap down 3mm but this had almost no effect!
I cannot measure any wing incidence differences between the wings.
There is almost no appreciable wing drop on stall.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Ian
If you have a heavy left wing and your incidence measures the same, might it be possible that the washout in both ailerons are not equal or perhaps a twist in one wing? Are you measuring your incidence with a digital inclinometer? I ask these questions as I have set up mine with a digital inclinometer and I just hope it flys level. One resolution for you may be a fixed trim tab under the right hand aileron from .025" as the european demo ch650 has, unless you are going to drill out rivets where ever the problem is.

Phill
