Flanging Dies

After calling numerous shops in my area, I finally found a place willing to make the 4 flanging dies needed for plans-building. The shop wants $1,000 for 4 dies. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this seems way too high! At that price, I'm better off buying sub-kits!

I don't have a lathe to do this, but I have used a lathe before, and could do it myself.  Thanks for the tip...I'll see what I can come up with.

Build them yourself out of wood.  Very inexpensive and they work.  www.ch601.org

Once I figured it out they were very easy to construct.
