I’m currently building the slats for my CH 750. Does anyone have insight on how these are installed and maybe some photo’s? When running these wires where is the connection made? Will I be able to remove the slats for painting? I’m defiantly open to any guidance or information that I can get!

Does anybody know the best way to cut the hole in the slat (of a 750 stol) for the landing light.
Thanks in advance for any ideas?
I've got two of the Zenair landing lights to put in. The instructions seem pretty simple. Just cut the proper size hole, slide the housing into the slat and it gets riveted in. I'm not at the light install stage yet but I'll dig up the instructions and scan them in when I get a chance.
Slats are riveted together in pairs when built... its best to find which slides inside the other without deforming the airfoil and put it together that way. Each pair of slats is bolted to the stubs sticking out the front of your wing, and is removable to paint.
