LODA for teaching in a Zenith 750
Has anyone out there successfully navigated the Letter Of Deviation Authority (LODA) process and would they be willing to share?

The FAA, with its usual pristine logic, has forbidden flight instruction in aircraft with Experimental type certificates unless either the instructor or the owner has been issued a Letter of Deviation Authority (LODA). Surprisingly, they set up an email account for you to apply, and the response is quick. I got mine in 8 days.Here is the form to fill out, as well as the address to send it to.

You'll probably eventually get a response. FSDOs are going to get flooded with LODA requests if the FAA doesn't reverse the position they took in that letter they put out that put blanket restrictions on numerous categories after a court case on limited category aircraft.
