Now we've covered props for the CH701, how about for the CH750 ?

We've changed out the original Sensenich fixed pitch wooden supplied with the Jabiru 3300, for a Whirlwind GA-J2B 63" ground adjustable. However, it seems hard to get speed or economy. Anyone have some happy experience with the CH750/3300 to share ?

Peter - The prop's performance is more about the engine than the airframe. Considering the 750 is also a high drag airframe like the 701 & 801. The high drag airframes like big props, 68" (min), 70", 72", etc. Therefore those props require an engine and/or reductiondrive that can swing them. Your 3300 mostly cannot handle those size props (70" & above). It will continue to be a challenge for you. Don't misread me; 3300 very good engine. Just maybe not quite as good, because of prop limitations, on high drag airframes. [Unless you are a real STOL flyer]. Given the circumstances, the Sensenich/3300 combination should work reasonably well on that airframe. My two cents.
