Received air worthy certificate on my 701 last Thursday!!
After working on my 701 for five years I received an air worthy certificate on my 72nd birthday! Since I am not a pilot I am looking to friends to fly off the 40 hours and then the plan is to learn to fly in the 701. Have enjoyed building the 701 and looking forward to learning to fly it.
My 701 was built with longer wings (similar to 750), a longer horizontal and elevator, raised top window, divorced elevator control and a four position flap control. I did not install slats but plan on installing VG's after it has flown for a few hours.
