Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
A year and a half ago I volunteered to make some Google Maps from the Zenith.aero membership database but to my shame I have only just now gotten around to it. So, with the data from August 2011, I made three maps: one for members registered with a 701, one for those with a 750, and another for the 650 members.
Here's a screenshot of the 750 one.
The maps are fully interactive Google Maps, you can zoom in, pan around etc, and if you click on a target you can see the member's name, location and a link to their Zenith profile.
If you want to check them out, hop on over to http://www.stol750project.info/zenith/builderMaps.html. If there is enough interest from members and/or Zenith I'm willing to update them and keep them current.
I've only publicised this link here so the only people who know about this can already look up this information from the Members page, but if you want your entry removed from the map let me know. Similarly if you aren't on the map and desperately want to be, leave me a comment!
Anyway, maybe someone will find them useful and/or interesting.

Hi Paul We will attend the workshop at the end of April and would like to be added to your map.
Thank you
Bill
Nice one Jacky. It would be good if we could sticky the maps somewhere as I do think they are a great way to see where other builders are.
Great Idea! I've have a 601, 650 map that has been going since Nov 6, 2011 with MANY entries:

I'm up for visits and will take you the the best hole-in-the-wall restaurant in 10 min drive from the airport!!
Randy (and everyone else) you are added. Still can't find out how to move Mark to the right place...... if I spot new users being added by Zenith I will add them
I think this a great idea, lets builders know who is around them, maybe good for help. Please count me in, what do you need. Thanks...
Scratch that last comment, not sure why it has your pin in the wrong place Mark. I'll see if I can put a lat/long in there instead.....
My pin is about 200 miles away from my town, but has the right town in the bubble??
I would like to be added
Nice job, Paul. There are some Oregon builders not on the map, of which I am one. A map is a much better way to depict the Zenith community than a "list" and I commend you for your effort.
