Traveling to Oshkosh- Places to Stay along the Journey

Hey guys,

I'm planning on traveling to Osh from Dallas/FW Texas.  I'd like to suggest that we should all communicate with each other as to who might have a place to park a plane, or who might have a place to park a person for the night while traveling.  My biggest concern with this trip is getting stuck in weather.  If anyone is available as an emergency destination, or just willing to host a couple travelers Zodiac builders between DFW-Tulsa-Columbia MO-Brodhead WI-OSH please let me know.

Probably won't need to use it, but it's good to have back up options.  The more options we all have, the less likely we all are to get "get there itis" and make bad go-nogo decisions.

Are there any forums that support that these types of travel options?  If not it would be nice if there was.  I'm in the keller TX area, and if I knew a fellow Zenith builder needed a place to stay, I'd be hapy to help.

I just won't be around from July 22nd to 28th :).

Mike, I am also going to Osh and look forward to chewing the fat with other CH 701/750 fanatics. I will be camping under the wing of a 182.  Peter Bennett

Mike:  You're always more than welcome to visit us in Mexico, MO (KMYJ).  Our small airport has a great new terminal building (with 24 hr access to a pilot lounge with WX and showers) and a courtesy car.

If you like to camp, check our American Air Campers - they have a directory of camper-friendly airports around the country.
