The mount fit to the firewall is generally very good. After clecoing the mount at the top center, I checked the mount's vertical angle compared to the aircraft's longitudinal datum. I found the mount pitched up 4.2 deg. I rechecked my firewall to 18 deg. Per the drawings it should be 17 deg, so the mount is actually pitching up 3.2 deg. Since I did not want to aggravate this condition, I fabricated 1/8" 4130 lower mount doublers to fit inside the fuselage. With the doublers inside, the lower mount to firewall bolts are a close fit in the radius of the doublers, but workable. I will recheck the engine pitch angle after securing, and shim the lord mounts as required to achieve 0 to -1 deg engine pitch angle.

I am satisfied with the mount. For my installation, it would have been better if the lower mount points were slightly higher on the firewall (1/8" to 1/4 ").
