I just finished a trip up to Maine from SC in my 801 (RollerSkate). It was very memorable for several reasons. 1- when I landed and departed Laconia NH that made a straight 50 for me - a take of and landing as PIC in all 50 states. About 40% of those states were accomplished in my 801. 2-The fall foliage up north was in prime colors, and nothing like an 801 to cruise slow and low and take in all of the beauty. 3- I got to fly up the Hudson River corridor. Circle the Statue of liberty and fly below skyscraper level - the full monte! If you haven't done this, try to get on your bucket list. It is so much fun I can't understand why the Feds haven't (as part of the "let's kill GA" Initiative) shut it down yet. Next year hopefully I will make the island hop flight to South America in my 801 if COVID doesn't block it like it did this year. An 801 may not be so fast, but with persistence you can go really far.
I will be posting photos in my DropBox soon.

Thanks Dan;
Its a silly thing to do like collecting stamps or quarters from every state, but fun anyway. Each stat and airport represents an opportunity to meet great new people. Getting closer to that target of 600 airports now too. I can't wait until one of those airports is the strip I am building.

David;
I am presently still in Maine and will be until I depart on Fri Oct 23 (more or less depending on weather). I am staying in Calais. The plane is tied down in Machias Valley (the only place I could get a rental car). I will return south some time on or after Friday 10/23. Where are you located? Text me your contact info to 864-616-3192 and we can connect.
