DOug,

Ask yourself if you are a flyer or a builder. If a builder go plans build, If a flyer go quick build.

The first airplane I built I thought I was a flyer and rushed the building process, I still enjoyed it but now the airplane is finished and I miss building so I will start another project in the fall.

Engines to use? Good question. The VW's look good. How about the Honda Viking.
