Hi, my name is Justin, and I live down in Jax, FL. I am starting to do some research for a homebuilt airplane, and so far, the one that has me the most intrigued is the Zenith STOL CH801. I have looked at all sorts of designs, and even looked into buying a certified airframe, but for what I see myself doing, this is the plane I need. I'm not an engineer, but tools and mechanics aren't a mystery to me. I have flown before, and have over 1400 hours as an enlisted aircrewman/sensor operator in the Navy, so I have some experience in that realm as well. There is still at least a year before my first sub-assembly kit is ordered, as I am getting married (and can't talk the fiance into spending cake money on sheet metal).

I have always dreamt of flying and owning my own airplane, and I hope to make that a realtiy soon.
