Edward, My plane is a 601XLB. I have a CAMit engine which is 125 hp. The CAMit is similar to a Jabiru. The prop is a Sensenich composite. I have it pitched so that in level flight after about 45 seconds at full throttle at sea level, the engine reaches max RPM of 3,300. I don't know the degrees. All that said, it was mother nature that provided much of the boost. I saw 50 knots on the tail at times.

Very impressive. You can cover some ground at 150 MPH @ 12,500' Was that in a 601 XL or HDS. Also what Engine and horsepowe, and what kind of prop blade and pitch? Thanks Happy Flying
