I think you'll be pleased!  I've had the original 740 for several years and even through numerous updates of the software, it has been "bulletproof."  Even though mine is mounted on the instrument panel, the internal antenna worked just fine in my 750 STOL.  I now have a Stratux ADSB-in receiver and the iFly wirelessly receives WAAS GPS data from it and that has worked perfectly, too!
