701 static thrust test
This is thrust testing of my VW powered 701. 1915cc Type 1, 1.6 to 1 custom belt redrive, 68" Powerfin prop. I step up to full throttle, but this video is about a year old and I don't remember what the first two speeds were, 2000 or 2500rpm, then 3000 maybe, then full throttle about 4100 rpm. Pitch was originally 10 deg, I have since changed to 11.5 to get a max rpm of 3800 to 3900. Have not retested, it still pulls me back in the seat.
