Hi, Tim
My slip indicator didn't work well I had to order an other one. I controlled two ways the slip during this time. I had to built a spirit level indicator (vial) the bubble move reverse than the ball but correct and tried a string on the canopy. Whwn I checked both I suprised the string indicated well tha yaw behind the prop blast. I am a glider pilot and always use string. The simple is the best.

I like the mix of new and old instrumentation - GPS and a yaw string. Does the string really indicate yaw being in the prop blast?
