Video shot with Iphone4 by Bob Stuart modern farmer son Harry. It amazes me the quality of a camera they put in a "phone"

CH750 with Rotax 912S empty weight 715 lb
Thank Bob!
That's great! I was hoping optimistically for 93MPH(80kts) cruise but expecting closer to 81MPH(70kts)
I'll build her as light as possible.
Rotax 912S fuel consumption 18 Liters/hr
CH750 airframe only happy doing 95 mph or less regardless of engine installed.
As long as your not planning on floats operations 100 hp is adequate. The Rotax 912 series id bullet proof reliable.
Wow! what a performer! I have pretty much decided on a 912ULS or S for my plans built CH750 STOL.
Would you recommend it? What sort of cruise speed do you average? And fuel consumption?
I was worried about the 100Hp not being quite enough but I like the trust that i have in these engines and your video looks like it has more than enough.
CH750 C-IKIM with Rotax 912S flying out of a Soya Bean field on Bob Stuart's (plans CH701 builder) farm. "Ballast Bob" + Bob Stuart + 30 US gal fuel = short take-off run and 800 fpm climb.
