This video demonstrates the difference in cabin vent position and the amount of potential carbon monoxide that can be pulled from the aft fuselage of an aircraft in flight. I have been able to demonstrate this effect in other aircraft as well as certainly NOT specific to a Zenith or the ULPower UL350iS engine that is installed. I believe it is very important to have a sensitive and accurate CO detector. Many if not most general aviation aircraft provide heat to the cabin by means of a heat shroud on top of the muffler which is then vented to the cabin. This video hopefully demonstrates other potential sources of CO poisoning.

I recently tried a new carbon monoxide (CO) detector I bought on Amazon. Not sure how accurate or reliable this thing is, but probably better than the old "orange dot" detector on the center console, and it will keep my phone charged too!
I like the CO detector used in the video - compact, sensitive, and reacts rapidly! What is the model and brand of the CO detector? (It's mentioned in the video but I couldn't clearly hear what he said.)
Thanks,
John
