Didn't think I'd still be flying at this time of year but the weather has been great. Started playing with full flap landings, which are a bit tricky in this...

I tried that, helps, but I prefer the heavier stick on landing... has a better feel, for me anyways, and that's the way the PA-11 feels when I land it on floats so I'm use to it! :D

I land with full up trim and full flaps

Yeah... no issues with the nose... lands gently as can be. I'm guessing my lead 8 the tail is really helping. My CG is dead center in the envelope which makes the nose nice and light! But I do need a lot 9 back pressure on the stick with full flaps. Doesn't lose any attitude control though, it's just heavy. Lands great new that I got the hang of it. :)

Hi Marvin. It's a Garmin Virb Elite with the aviation bundle. Has a prop filter to keep the prop blur away and a patch cord to plug into your headset. The info is put on after with the Garmin software and you can put anything, anywhere on the screen. The cam has built in GPS and Wi-Fi and records pretty much everything. If you add a sensor pack it can even record all the engine functions too! :-0 but I haven't bothered with that... yet! :)

Hi Mark, what kind of camera are you using that shows all that info in the screen?

Nice! Always look forward to seeing your videos Mark. Not sure if you've seen the "Backcountry pilot" videos on youtube but they've got a whole series on STOL flying. Here's a link to the video on approaches...it's got some great info on steep STOL approaches. Made me wanna try some STOL flying :)
